They were playing with a lot of swagger the 1st 70 minutes prior to several subs. One thing that stood out to me was the speed of this team. Seemed like everyone could run. They looked big, but you always do when playing against Mexico. I missed parts of the game, but I was impressed with them. Looked to be one of the best youth teams since the 2000 Olympic squad. Mix played very well. Bunbury was off when he came in, had probably 4 shots and none of them on goal. Oh and [expletive] Mexico! I want to see Shea dominate this squad when he goes. Any clues as to who the 3 overage players will be? I think we have a legit chance to go deep in this one.

Think I am more shocked to see France score twice in a match than to see Germany lose. I really should have gone to Frisco tonight to watch the U23 v Mexico. Agudelo must be hanging out with Neymar. Watching him come out for Bunbury is a good feeling.

He enrolled at another school, right? Still, enrolling at another school with a few months left in his high school career can't make ND feel comfortable about his character. This is what ESPN was saying. If he is just transferring that looks a lot better, but what kid transfers his senior year with 2 months remaining. Plus just qualifing academicly with ND seems like it could be an issue. Though I though ND was always pretty thorough in that prior to offering.

Luck just ran a 4.59 which is pretty damn good in the QB world. Newton ran a 4.56. FWIW, Luck also outjumped RG3. That's impressive as RG3 could have potentially been an Olympian in the 200 & 400 hurdles.

Fatty fatty 2 x 4 and ran a 4.42 and 4.44 his check is going to be fatty fatty 2x4 but will he get it through the kitchen door? Not sure he will have a free hand too even carry it with all of the alcohol he'll be able to afford now.

Arsenal have grown leaps and bounds over the course of the season. Still need to spend money on the back 4 though. Theo Walcott might be the most frustrating player I have seen in a while. The van Persie goal was great.

RG3 with a 4.38. Wonder if the Colts are thinking about it at all?

I think the key to Davis is having the right players in his system. With thay he can be successful. I don't think he is great at making adjustments and still have occasional nightmares of seeing 10+ WR screens in a game. I question if the success was more do to 7 seasons of Vince Young and Colt McCoy than what he did. Curious to see him in the Big 10.

agreed with Adam, they were estentially FA. I drafted both DiceK and Kuroda this way in the major league draft. The main reason for the minor league draft was to draft players from the MLB draft in June and to avoid people going waiver crazy based on random days CBS decided to add players to the database.

Brighton have 3 own goals vs Liverpool. Two of which were just awful. They actually don't look bad on offense controlling possession but lack the finishing. Defensively they are a mess.

i have no idea where the one on the eyes of texas' roster came from. from what i can tell, he was added by bazingas on 03/27/10, traded to my team (when i wasn't the owner) on 04/02/10, traded to NC Cubs on 05/30/10 for kendrys morales, traded to tim's team for josh hamilton on 10/17/10, then traded to my team last year in the halladay deal. there's no record in the transactions log of shelby miller or the eyes of texas. I was looking at that yesterday and trying to remember too. Will research tomorrow more. I'll try to drop Cueto from the phone.

Look at your PM's. All I really need from the PM's I sent now is your first and last name and the email address if it is different than the one I found through NSBB's admin panel. I'll send you a synopsis of what you will need to do and how to go about doing it soon. I'll wait until you are registered into the Roadkill league before sending you the PM. You will need to be able to visualize the league page in order to follow some of the instructions. For example, they didn't make it real easy to find last year's point values for players, and they will be needed in order to get your team below the 2000 point maximum cap. Don't do anything with the team until you receive my PM. And for god sakes, do not accept any trades from these yahoos until I have had a chance to explain how the league works. There are vultures among us. :D example, don't believe Tim when he states its a good idea to trade 1st round draft picks.

What are we thinking for potential start to draft? I'm getting married March 17th so the couple of days before and after that will be slammed.

I could be wrong but I don't recall seeing any league emails go out for a while, that could help. I think some of us have been in this league for a long time and it takes a little bit of time ot get flowing again. I don't check this part of the board that often, and I know some others are the same way.
