    Germany also lost to England 5-1 before the last WC. I read a pretty disturbing article on Johnson on espn.com not to long ago suggesting everything you just stated.

    saving it for opening day. I have way too many little vacation trips coming up from April to August as well. Which of course does include a trip to Houston to see the Cubs. Not to mention the World Cup this year, with my hopes for Holland and England being very high, the US is looking pretty good as well.

    haven't been around much lately. Just got comp fixed, working too much need a vacation soon. Doesn't even feel like ST is around the corner. I am very behind on everything compared to past couple of years.

    US is looking impressive tonight without the internationals. Missed last weeks game, but happy with the style of play. Dempsey has been very impressive.

    Oh well. they got some good QB's in the waiting and the #1 recruiting class in the nation. I thought replacing Applewhite was going to be very tough, but replacing Young is even worse. I like their options, and the running game is still going to be very good next season.

    I did several times, just not on the comp. If they could some how win men's basketball it would be very impressive to hold football, baseball, and basketball all at the same time. Hopefully Vince stays.

    I'm not sure they were underrated. They were the top ranked o-line in the coutnry before the season, had several all-american's on the the line, and all 5 of them are expected to be drafted into the nfl.

    White had one of his best games in his carrer. I think his draft stock might have risen 10+ slots last night alone to become a top 10 pick.

    Great game, great championship game. USC made mistakes, but so did Texas. I almost think Texas made more than USC in fumbles and special teams. I really never have seen a player will his team to win more than Vince Young. I am definatly more worried about Young leaving now to the NFL than I was before. Texas's 800th win results in a NC. Time to change the banner.

    I'll be happy with a boring Texas blowout of USC.

    They did in terms of points. No underclassman has left Mack Brown early from Austin, apparently - Vince is as good a player as any to leave early though. Vince needs to work on his throwing mechanics, but that's better fixed at the pros, imo. He should be a top 5 pick despite his mechanics. pretty much what he states. if Texas wins I think he might take longer to make an official decision. if Texas loses I am pretty positive he comes back with a chance to win everything including Heisman.

    I'll take Jones and his bad contract. I just really dislike Preston.

    I'll be shocked if Vince Young doesnt return. Assuming he does the Texas offense will surpase USC's this season, and with a whole lot more weapons. Of course no one weapon will be better than Reggie Bush.

    Reminds me of Ron Powlus. I think he was predicted to win the Heisman all 4 years. That really panned out. Two reasons why I don't get overly excited about recruiting class ranks. They really can't be graded until at least two years down the road, IMO Only by Beano Cook, during years of biased predictions.

    Slaton is very wirey. very impressive, no hesitation when hitting the holes.

    based on the crap organization known as the ncaa yes, based on letting the kids have fun while playing the best bowl game of the year no.

    He might need to be added to that Heisman list next season as WV could be very good. Also Vince Young should be atop that list.
