The same reason why the Cubs didn't sign Tim Lincecum. They drafted him too? Why did you tell me that? I am now on suicide watch The same reason the Yankees didn't sign Mark Prior. This list can go on and on, its not just the Cubs every team has lots of guys like this.

who is arguing against that? LLF was ignoring it. Green has a career OPS of .747. Not so great. Would he do better in Wrigley. Certainly. Enough to make it worth while? Maybe. The point is, until it happens, this will remain speculation. Thats every trade rumor in the history of sports. Not exactly. Im debating whether Green would perform better in Wrigley than Petco. #-o Gotcha :)

Junior in college going back for his senior season. Drafted in the 14th round by the Cubs. If I am not mistaken there were signability issues before the draft and slid down some cause of that. However he also destroyed all of his numbers his senior season and really shot up the draft.

You can keep saying it as long as you want just so long as you don't expect anyone to agree. It really doesn't matter as neither will be traded to a division rival. If the Cubs got him and slotted him in the #2 spot I am fine and happy with him. If he hit 3rd,4th, or 5th it would be bad. I simply don't have a mancrush on him, and don't think he is a good hitter. Let him see fastballs and walk in front of Lee all day. Like you said it doesn't matter.

Looking at the Championship Division and looking at who is likely going down. Southampton appears to be going down. Leicester is on the brink being level with Southampton, Sheffield Wednesday are 1 point clear. Has Nottingham Forest even made a sighting in the past 5 years. It must be brutal to be a fan of some of these older clubs that once were very successful.

Dunn is not what this team needs at all. He has 3 rbi's this season in games in which he didn't hit a HR. He's a great On Base machine but thats pretty much it. He's a good slugger and a terrible hitter. I've said it many times he is only good as a #2 hitter for the Cubs.

If your not currently first in the waiver order I would take a shot. Not worth waiting when you might not even get him to begin with.

Merril Hoge is a moron. If you have the means, I recomend watching the nfl network. Nope I have stupid time warner and only cause its free. still thought about switching and paying for something else.

Chiefs draft Jammal Charles, and Merril Hodge says he only has good speed. The kid is a freaking track star and runs below a 4.4 - 40. Perfect combo for Larry Johnson.

He's a ridiculous athlete. Now that he can focus on football fulltime, he has the chance to turn into a real playmaker. Thanks. I guess I just thought we needed a WR. I know they didn't want Manningham and that selecting Doucet or Caldwell could have been a reach. I just don't want to go into 2008 with just Crayton and a gimpy Glenn at WR along with TO. he has the potential to be very very good (not Witten good), but he is still an Aggie so I doubt he is very smart. Probably would have been a 1st round pick next season. I agree though a WR would have been nice. Guess non of them are valued high enough to take in the 2nd round.

What are Augustin's draft chances? If the Sonics end up with Beasley, I really hope Augustin falls to 24. An Augustin/Durant/Beasley trio would look pretty sweet in OKC next year. I would think Augustin would be a Top 10 pick -
Chiefs have had a lot of picks, Steelers have had two absolute steals in those slots IMO.
