There has been a lot of talk about the new tv deal they got and how its going to give them a lot of payroll flexibility. With that, their farm system, and playing in the West they should be a mainstay in the playoffs for a couple of years.

so if Auburn does pass everyone this week and becomes #1 in the BCS poll, will ESPN use the AP rankings to frame their #1 team being beaten for the 4th straight week story? I've seen all channels do this just to use the highest ranking possible to promote the matchup.

Pretty much the best farm system over the past 3 years. They have done a nice job in development.

People had heard of Ron Washington before he got the job, though. That means he's a better manager than Quade ever could be. Either that or blow works. How much blow are you talking about?

The loss to Iowa State will certainly knock Texas down to second or third next week. Yeah I have no idea why he would write that to begin with. OU has at least looked good on given weeks. Hopefully more losses like this will get Texas closer to firing Greg Davis or force retirement. Texas might lose to Baylor too. Iowa St also beat Tech by a lot, they deserve some credit this season.

They are loving that Arod struck out looking to make the world series. Arod and CC make more than the entire Rangers team.

They've scored on all five drives in the first half and went at least 55 yards on each including at least 77 on three of them. I don't think UCLA came close to stopping them. How the hell did they blow out Texas? Texas did have 5 1st half turnovers.
