Again, this would be the coaching staffs fault. If they can't manage that then it's their problem. What about USC signing 30 last year. But yeah the SEC needs this more than anyone.

Good move by the SEC and it should become a National rule. If you can't figure out if a kid will qualify for your school by signing day then he probably shouldn't get an offer to begin with.

NBC has turned into a complete joke when it comes to sports. As little as I have seen from the French heard that Federer was playing better than anyone. If he could win a 2nd French and against Nadal that might be enough to solidify himself as the best ever.

The NFL would have to miss way more than a full seasons worth of games before it makes any dent. It may even take more than that. I think if they lost an entire season they would no longer would be number 1. What's the #2 sport right now? Because that one would become number one. College Football

Thome has never played LF son. Fine, Thome at SS. Didn't Thome catch one game once in his life? Someone ought to log onto the internet and find out. Not as a professional. According to BBR, he played his first 40 minor league games at SS, which I had no idea. Im assuming he was in much better shape at the time, but I cant even imagine him oafing around the middle infield without laughing out laud. Might actually make watching the Cubs worth it this season.

Athletic departments aren't making money hand over fist. If you want the complete fairness of the football players getting compensated, that's fine. But acknowledge that it would come at the expense of the Olympic sports in those schools, and more than a few basketball programs as well. How much money do these kids need after free everything. If I was 18 and was given $200 a week with zero expenses I could have done a lot of damage.

I don't think that would be a terrible pick, but I have questions about how good Starling will really end up being. And if you are worried if $5million is enough to buy him away from playing football then its understandable. -

Outside of a nutjob like Kiffen no one is going to take this job until the lubrication dries from the ribbing the NCAA is going to give them. Pretty soon they will be praying for USC like penalties and not worse which they will get.

Lets create a new soccer organization and give countries the opportunity to play in either the US or Qatar in 2022. I won't be surprised to see FIFA come crashing down at some point the way this is going.
