What's the worst possible realistic punishment? I'm thinking a 2 year postseason ban and a reduction in scholarships for 2-3 years would be the worst thing the NCAA would dare give them. That would be what USC got, I think they will be getting a little worse than that. I would think a bit more. Seems like they have more on the school in this case, but the actions are a bit less blatant (Weren't Bush's violations in the million dollar range?). It would be great if it were more scholarships taken away and a 3-4 year post season ban, but I don't think the NCAA has the balls. The NCAA has already said they need to make a statement. I think Bush might have been a couple of hundred thousand and a house or so, but they only got hit with 1 player. This is looking like multiple players, acknowledgement by the coaching staff/compliance department, and lying to the NCAA about it. Plus the University is on alert already because of violations by the Basketball team, though USC I think was in the same boat from OJ Mayo. It all depends on what infractions they actually get hit with.
