    14.5 point favorites over Tech, I'm not liking that at all since I see it more as a toss up with pretty much an all freshman and soph secondary. But I think Texas will run all over Tech and control the clock pretty well.

    Their finances are a mess and they likely won't have an owner till February at the earliest. They almost didn't make payroll during the season a couple of time. I just don't see how they spend anything without trading a lot of payroll first.

    I assume you're ignoring which team in our division won the World Series this year? That happened during the actual baseball season, not the offseason ;-). Cubs offseason however began a couple of months ago.

    I can't see any scenario where he is staying after watching last nights game. Yesterday was the shot of confidence I needed going into 2012. Defense seemed to finally full grasp Manny Diaz's defense and played a complete game. Gill seemed very in over his head. i wouldn't take too much from that game if i were you. After the last two games I'll take anything I can get.

    If the Cubs sign Pujols we need to have an occupy St. Louis Day w/ everyone wearing Pujols Cub's jersey. On the Wilson subject, I would rather have Colby Lewis over Wilson. Too bad he isn't available either.

    Depending on contract, yes he is worth the risk especially if we can dump someone else. Lefty bat off of the bench/platoon with Jackson. At the same time should he provide useful/healthy he could be a nice trading piece at the next deadline next summer to try to load up more prospects.

    Wow Kansas is terrible. 18 yards total offense with 8 minutes left in the 4th quarter.

    Thinking Malcolm Brown has a huge game against Kansas today. Need to continue to establish the run and build the line for next season when Johnathon Gray shares the backfield with him.
