    I think if the Cubs can get solid performances from Williams, Rusch and Guzman/Hill the Cubs will be fine. If there is one thing I would like to see Jim Hendry do is trade for Tony Graffanino. He would be a perfect number 2 hitter, just like how Mark Grudzielanik was for the cubs in 03.

    I really dont see how the Cubs cannot make the playoffs, with the depth of the pitching staff this should be a playoff team.

    Looking at Carroll's numbers he is a carrer .269 BA with a .344 OBP Defensive stats from 05: SS: 41 Games 1.000 Fielding% 2B: 63 Games .980 Fielding% 3B: 12 Games 1.000 Fielding% Sounds like a pretty good utility player.

    The Colorado Rockies on Saturday purchased the contact of infielder Jamey Carroll from the Washington Nationals for $300,000. Why wouldnt Hendry try to get Carroll? Makes more sense to get him then sign Augie Ojeda.
