  1. Jones could not protect Ramirez in the lineup, probably the reason he was dropped to the 6th spot.
  2. So I'm guessing Mid. May would be a safe bet for Miller, Wood and Prior to return to the Cubs rotation.
  3. Any news on Miller's progress?
  4. Now it is time to lock up D-Lee. Not sure what other people think of Jim Hendry but I like the moves he has made, and I'm glad to see he got an extension he deserved it.
  5. I think Blanco should get the start tomarrow also with Marshall making his MLB debut. Blanco is a veteran and knows how to call a game behind the plate.
  6. Anyone know the lineups for today?
  7. The only reason Neifi is starting at 2B is because of his defense.
  8. I didnt get a chance to watch the game today, but from what i heard Mike Barrett played like garbage. As a catcher your job is to catch the ball, block the ball and call a game. Boy do i wish the Cubs still had Damian Miller.
  9. Prediction: Jerry Hairston gets a pinch hit RBI single in the ninth to give the cubs a 4-3 lead, and Ryan Dempster shuts the door in the bottom half of the ninth. Go Cubs
  10. Mitre did have back to back quality starts against the Marlins and BlueJays last year. He out pitched Roy Halladay that day, and Halladay is one hell of a pitcher.
  11. Nice to know Rick Kranitz can change Mitre's mechanics in a couple of months and Larry Rotchschild has no freaking clue. Mitre looked solid last night against the Astros. He had the Astors hitter off balnce the entire game. He was throwing that heavy sinker down and in on right handers. Wonder if Rick Krantiz could of helped change Kerry's mechanics. Probably could help him from throwing across his body, which causes the shoulder to flare up all the time.
  12. If you cannot throw back to back days as a middle reliever, you better go find a new job.
  13. One thing that caught my eye was the fact the Cubs drew 7 walks. Must be a record or something under Baker.
  14. Cubs ruffed up Arroyo last year when he was with the Red Sox, I like the cubs chances. Lets just hope they can build off this game and start the season with a winning streak. Go Cubs
  15. I like the lineup. Hopefully it stays this way is right
  16. This hurts my fantasy team..Big time
  17. The bench is very versitle.
  18. Pie for Figgins, or Pie for Lackey sounds good to me.
