    I'd never listened to cubscast until you just mentioned it. I just listened to the most recent one, and i think I liked Bricks and Ivy better. When I listen to Bricks and Ivy I think of babbling idiots with out a clue. When I list Cub cast I think of babbling idiots with somewhat of a clue. My vote goes to Cubcast, but Bricks and Ivy has some comedic value.

    I was working on my resume all night and forgot about the Cubs. Saw they were actually winning on Cubs.com. They better not implode like they did Saturday.

    I will be at the Friday and Saturday games. I am not a person that boo's my favorite teams but they have really been stinking it up. So I may boo them.

    Who isn't putting forth effort? They're trying to win. They're just not a very good baseball team. OK maybe I typed that out of anger. But without Lee there really are no players to be feared on this team. All you have is a bunch of complimentary type players. Lee was the player that allowed the others to play there complimentary roles.

    Save the fire sale that is already happening. Cedeno, Murton, and our 3 rookie starters.

    I can never root against the Cubs. Here are my reasons why. Short of losing every game from here on out the management is probably here to stay, sadly as it is. Unlike other sports there is not as much of a reward through the draft if you suck.

    So Guzman is pitching tomorrow. Yay. :roll: Hopefully we can score more then one run. We will definitely need to.

    Getting sick of this lack of an offence. It is just ridiculous. It's almost like they have given up already and it's only May 6th. Sad, very sad.

    I was listening to this Radio Program this morning called Diamond Jems. There program today was what they called a tribute to Ron Santo. They were basically talking about how he deserves to be in the HOF. They brought up the '69 team of course. In the course of this they said that this team was hated and all of the other teams were doing every thing they could to have the Mets over take them. They said that teams would play nothing but rookies against the Mets. While there best players would play against the Cubs. They also sited a case where the Cardinal Ace (forgot his name) was pitched on two days rest, when his next start was supposed to be against the Mets. Is there any validity to these claims. I always thought this team just ran out of gas.

    Hasn't there been a time in your life where you just said "Ok, that's it. I've had enough?" That's what happened with him. And with the Royals performances over the last 10 years or so , I can't really say I balme him at all. Yes I have been frustrated, but never to the point where I thought about jumping ship. Usually I just start paying closer attention to some of my other teams. Example it's the end of August and the Cubs are in the tank. I am getting excited about Hawkeye Football.

    That article disgusted me. No matter how bad your team is, you need to stick with them. Although he says (keyword being says) that he has been loyal for 25 years, in my book he is still a band wagoner. Band wagoners although a necessity for the bottom line, are disgusting and annoying.

    what'd he say? To paraphase: Dusty needs to stay so he can put in his system. You can't judge the job he's done because of all the injuries.

    It was a pretty bad play. Maybe an 8 or 9 on the Moises scale. It's like he thought there were 2 outs. I'd rate it a 5. I thought the ball was going to drop. Still a bone head play.

    That comes with a kick in the groin. Well no matter what this series is going at least 6 games. more then most people expected.
