Barely RF, and it was fielded by the 2B. He really took a rounded route from 1st to 3rd. And he's ugly. His first AB today was the most impressive for me; hung in against a tough breaking ball and was able to shoot it back through the middle for a hit. I didn't see it. I saw the 3 pitch K when he argued with the ump.
I believe Bruce was the last to comment on it. He was very adamant that Wood's NTC would not be waived. Bruce probably knows more about it than you or me. He's not going to waive it for the sake of waiving it. But there's nothing to say he wouldn't waive it if a trade was in place and he liked the team he was going to and/or got a financial incentive to move.
Rusch wore out the hitters for Angel. The Tigers are the proverbial pickle jar and Glendon was the husband loosening it up for his wife. Although his breastal region suggests he was the wife loosening it up for the husband.
`I wish there was a reporter who had the balls to ask Dusty and Hendry what are they still doing here. I'm sure they'll ask. The problem is Dusty won't have the balls to answer it honestly. He'll hem and haw and blame everything but himself for the mistake.
Rusch, unfortunately, is going to be involved in the Cubs immediate (next week), near-term (the rest of the season) and medium-term (next season) future.
I'm telling you, Guzman, Marshall and Hill should get into some sort of tag team rotation where they try to get 3-4 innings from two of those guys every 5th game.
Wasn't he on 2nd? How did he not score? Couldn't tell if the ball would be caught or not. He still could have scored from 2nd even if Juan caught the ball.
No one player can solve all the problems. But some players can solve more than others. And there are plenty of guys who can solve more than Crawford. Carl would be a nice piece of your team, if he was already on your team. But if you have to give up a load to get him it defeats the purpose.
