I didn't think I would live to see the day my Chiefs nailed a draft like this. I am in utter disbelief. Charles, Cottam and Franklin today is awesome. I mean Cottam is 6'8" 270 and 40's in the 4.6's. This years draft is going to make the team better immediately.

I've been trying to keep up with them a little bit being a local team and all, and they have to be excited to get the top talent in the draft at #5. I haven't read back to their pick at 15, but what do you think of Albert? A lot of people had Albert going at the #5. That's pretty amazing when you think about what actually happened. Oh wow, that's stellar. Hopefully they can keep it going with their second rounder. Great first round for KC. I'm hoping for Brohm in the 2nd, but we really need a CB as well. Maybe Jenkins will fall.

Will they take him though? I thought they are pretty sold on Croyle. Neither is much, if any, better than Croyle. The Chiefs taking one of them would be a bad, bad move. I'm not really sold on Henne, but I like Brohm quite a bit.

Pujols broke it up with a double to lead off the 7th. Good job NPC. :wink: That's why I'm a Cards fan. Cards just tied it up 5-5 in the 8th. Solo shot by Duncan and Ankiel with a 2run HR.
