  1. That ball rolled all the way down the line and barely missed the bag. Man.
  2. Effing Kendall with a two-run single. 6-3 Brewers in 6th. Bailey sucks.
  3. So it almost has to go downhill from there. Question is how far and how fast.
  4. Good start. For those not watching or listening, I'm not being sarcastic.
  5. Seriously??? The only way I can see this ever happening is if you're 10+ beers deep and just left one of his random good games. That's how I wound up with a CPatt shirt a few years ago... Hell, if you're that eager to waste $20, I'll take it. I may have been intoxicated and thought it would be a great idea last year to buy one and wear it when he pitched here last season. Baseball reference reminds me that was July 26, 2007. JM went 5 IP, 6 H, 6 ER, 4 BB, 2 HR. We, uh, lost. I think they have a different meaning/signifigance here....I wear mine to my softball games a lot...Its fun to get a rise out of all the STL fans What he said.
  6. ^And the Reds got nothing. I can't believe Dusty keeps getting work.

  8. Agreed. Or you could be in St. Louis and be stuck with McLaughlin and Hrabosky, the fellow who makes Santo seem intelligible.
  9. Marquis is due for one of those 8 IP, 1 R kind of games. The power of positive thinking! Now, for a random observation. I drove past Busch Stadium on my way into the office this morning and they were lining people up for stadium tours. There was this kid wearing a Marlins jersey t-shirt with "Mitre" across the back. How many of those do you think they've sold, asks the fellow who has a blue Marquis jersey t-shirt.
  10. Cards-Dodgers resumed here. I'm about two miles south of the ballpark. Lots of thunder and lightning off to the east, but I don't think it's raining here right now. Dodgers went quietly in top of 6th. Their offense looks really bad sometimes.
  11. Yeah, Brewers are threatening again. Meanwhile, Dodgers are swinging at everything.
  12. Watching FSN Midwest, McLaughlin and Horton have spent the entire bottom of the first inning drooling on every Cardinal that comes up. Constant praise. How about some praise for that whiff by Ludwick. No score after 1st in St. Louis.
  13. 1-2-3 for Carp in first against Dodgers. Sounds like pretty bad storms are heading this way. They'll probably be delayed at some point. Which means Dodgers are going to get several innings in against that terrible STL pen.
  14. And now Wesley Willis pitching for 'Stros. So just bat Soto here?
  15. Yeah, my bad. Not bad Fuku. Will take it.
  16. More shenanigans from Pence. Nice. Now, how will we manage not to cash this one in? :-$
  17. If that call went against us I'd be livid.
  18. Another K. This game is kinda boring. But I like it.
  19. Nice work by CSN camera guy there. Wow.
  20. Sori flied out to LF. It's harder than I thought to do nothing but watch the game and post while at work.
