McLaughlin is okay, but he annoys me at times with his "Cardinals need a double play", every single time there's a runner on base. My favorite Hungo moment was a few years ago when he made some remark to the effect that God wants the Cardinals to win. I know it seems that way sometimes, but...

    590 or 1380? Aside from their idiotic statements to appease the masses here ("You know they're gonna choke! 1908!") it's pretty hard not to be complimentary to a team that is clearly the class of the National League thus far.

    Really anything but a Cards sweep is fine. Even losing 2 of 3 doesn't give much ground and keeps taking days off the calendar. That said, I think they'll take 2 of 3. Too much good pitching.
