    Yep, I'll take that every time. Though I agree that Florida looked completely overmatched most of the last two games and we should have won both. Can't wait to see the home opener on Saturday.

    That makes me feel better. You're going to lose games sometimes when either the goalie stands on his head or you just can't bury golden chances. But overall, you put that kind of pressure on and you'll win a lot of games.

    I love listening to Weideman on the radio. He does such a great job of raising his voice slightly and getting more excited as a scoring opportunity develops.

    I'm genuinely bummed, and I haven't lived up there in over 10 years. It would have been really great for the city. Rio needs to get this. Madrid would just be silly. Plus, I want to be able to watch some events relatively live, rather than on 6-hour delay or in the middle of the damn night.

    I've been hearing a lot of optimism about the Rangers. I don't get it, but it's there. I shudder to say it because it's been wrongly thought before, but I think the NHL is entering a mini-renaissance. The O-6 are good (Toronto aside, maybe), and other teams like the Caps, Flyers, Pens, and perhaps even Kings look promising.

    Why? If you're the US president you don't go lobby for the olympics unless you know you're getting them. It shows he has much less influence worldwide than people were saying. It shows they miscalculated his worth, and it's an embarrasment to the US to have their president lobby for something like this, and lose. After making far too many primetime appearances and major speaches, Obama probably needs to learn to stop putting himself in the spotlight becuase he's burning through political capital way too quickly. I agree. It would have been one thing if it came down to Rio and Chicago. Then Obama could have saved face and praised the IOC for opening up the Olympics to our South American friends. But losing like this, he just looks silly.

And I hadn't heard they picked up Smolanek off waivers from TB. I also wonder on the back end who will get more of the starts between Hendry, Johnson and Sopel. Sopel has a lot to prove to me.

    Yeah, you can't pass up McFadden this week. I looked at my running back options, and I'm wavering a bit. I play 2: Jacobs @ KC Chris Johnson @ JAX Cedric Benson vs. CLE I'm wavering about Johnson, thinking of putting Benson in given that matchup. Am I crazy?

    I thought I was going to have to choose between Warner and Cutler next week, until I looked and realized Warner has a bye. Let's do this, Jake. But also, on that note, Hines Ward or Hester?
