Interesting to read the varying perspective on the game last night. I watched it in fast-forward and saw it the way you guys did. Chippy (and often dirty) play by the Blues, horrid officiating and a clear difference in talent level on the ice. Which, of course, we're pretty used to seeing. Then I read the Blues boards and it's "the Hawks are whiny little bitches," "the Blues outplayed the Hawks 80% of the game" (someone actually said that), and so on. There is some level of recognition among the fans here that they would like our team and would trade places with us in a heartbeat. But then they fall back into calling us bandwagon fans. Which is funny because I was going to Blues games a few years ago when there were less than 3,000 people in the building. Overall, nice to see some production out of Kopecky, even if it was mostly because Ty Conklin was channelling his inner Cristobal Huet. And sucks to be Tkachuk, eh?
