His agent is the same guy who represents Saban, Kiffin, Malzahn, etc. The antics each year are a bit annoying. However, the Arkansas rumors seem to be the effect of the extension, not the cause. This extension was rumored before any Arkansas scuttlebutt came about, and is most likely just Anderson's agent trying to shake down Alden for more cash(which doesn't seem to have worked). Anderson is a good coach, but it surprises me a little that Missouri keeps playing this game with him. He's not that good.

It does suck, but they are pretty much toast at this point. Up a point with three games in hand, I feel pretty good. Looking at the standings now, that loss in Dallas the other day really stings.

Yeah I was stuck with the Phoenix broadcast, who were more preoccupied with their ownership situation than the game. God I hope that team moves to Winnipeg. WGN didn't give any updates on Sharp?

I'm not even sure they'd be favored in their next game. Seriously? The right side of the bracket is shredded. I think whoever wins this game is going to the Championship game. The winner of this game isn't going to face a single digit seed again until the FINAL FOUR. Yeah, this side has really cleared out. It's a clearer path for KU, but I'd like Illinois' chances.

Was flipping between the two Hawks games tonight so only saw parts of this one, but it didn't seem all that intense of a game. Who cares though, huge points. Hope Sharp is okay.

Perfect example from just a few hours ago: Let's see what Campbell does with this. Yes the player got right up and I haven't heard anything yet, but he seemed okay. Just the same, this was as much of a clear intent to injure as Bertuzzi's hit. How does should Cooke get? Especially considering his history? I'd say 10 games.

This is really the point. It's ridiculous that the NHL can't put someone in this position who can apply common sense and some consistency.

I've never liked that approach, because it doesn't really measure the intent at all, just the outcome. So what if Bertuzzi did what he did and Steve Moore got up and skated off just fine? I suppose you could have a minimum suspension still, but I think you have a look at what the guy did, not the result.

Yeah, I understand why Crawford was pulled, but none of this was his fault. Absolutely lazy defense and backchecking. You could see that 3-on-2 coming from a mile away, and I'm sure the forwards on the ice could too.
