Good, hold him back and keep him practicing until he's ready. He won't do anyone any good at 50% anyway. I hope the boys come to play tonight. This game is the key to the series.
It's great to be in the playoffs, but that's why losing that game yesterday hurt. Would have had a much better chance of getting some home ice if they manage to get past Vancouver. Well of course we wouldnt be playing Vancouver if we lost that game. Unless you mean if we got past Vancouver in the 2nd round. Yeah that was dumb. I just meant we'd have had a better chance of getting some home ice if they won their first-round matchup.

I think I heard Doc say during the broadcast yesterday that Malhotra was out of the season. He's a good player, but not going to slow Vancouver down all that much.
To be honest, I have no expectation whatsoever that we beat Vancouver this year unless everyone gets really hot and they play like they did on that 8-game winning streak. Even then, it would probably go 7. More likely, Vancouver in 5.
there have been a lot of weird results late in the year where teams with nothing to play for have really given good/motivated teams fits. i think a lot of these teams are just playing loose and also the kids that get to dress are really trying to make a good impression for next season. Very true. I should give MN credit for actually playing well, rather than just bagging on Dallas.
You know, we bitch about how inconsistent the effort can be from the Hawks, but Dallas has played like crap this period. I guess that's why we're battling with them for the 8th seed.
