Sounds like it was pretty intentional too. From what I read, the team captain (Couples?) had a chance to put Woods/Stricker against Yang/whoever, and passed on it knowing it would put them up against Scott. And why wouldn't they do it. Drum up interest that might not otherwise be there. If the damn thing wasn't in Australia, I'd probably watch.

Agreed. Content with 3-3, very happy with 4-2. They could sweep western Canada like they did a few years ago. So glad Thanksgiving is at my house this year, complete with Center Ice, so I can watch the games.

Very cool play by Kane to give Carcillo the EN goal. Great job beating another team they were supposed to beat. And it's nice to see them doing it with relative ease. Just hope Seabrook is okay.

It does kind of make me wonder what is wrong with Oquendo and whether he will stick around. I would think he probably will, but it certainly seems like a slight to hire someone with absolutely no experience over a guy who has been paying his dues for many years.

I wouldn't say this. There is no justified retaliation in the NFL. But the refs have called a terrible game, and it's somewhat on them that things got out of hand. The only dirty thing we've done was Moore going back after Stafford. Who tried to injure him. I have no problem with what Moore did.

Packers/Bears rivalry is much more honorable than this, and this is clearly all on Detroit. You clearly are not old enough to remember the Packers during the Forrest Gregg era. Clearly.
