Dammit, I've been on a million flights and never, ever saw anyone famous. I thought for sure I was sitting behind Cutler from Eastbound & Down in first class once. But it wasn't him.

Soooo, going to Vegas next week. Saw an article the other day that odds on the Cubs winning the WS had dropped to between 25-1 and 40-1 since Theo was hired. I'll be putting some (not much, but some) cash down on that.

I can't believe people are actually putting effort into that franchise. People worked really hard on this stuff, and yet it's so bad. Sort of like watching a preview for a horrible movie. People devoted their lives to it, and yet it's an abomination. Other than my posts here, I hope nobody ever says that about anything I've worked hard on. Which isn't much.

No interest on my part. I doubt that's what it would take to land Pujols, although if it did, I would reconsider. I'm conflicted on TLR. But I wonder if the pixie dust belonged to him or the Cardinals. And it seems like we'd be getting a guy just playing out the string, like Piniella. -

In any event, he's way better than Hendry.

I saw that. What a dumb thing for Thornton to say. Not that the Sharks and Rangers will ever meet in the playoffs. Well, Rangers probably have a better chance than SJ.

Haha awesome! Minnesota scored to tie the game with their net empty and then beat the Wangs in OT. And Koivu destroyed Kronwall right before making the pass that led to the GWG. Never too early to scoreboard watch.

He could just be traveling because of the dad's trip thing That could be, but if he was badly out they could say he's going to be out for a week or two weeks or however long and he could still travel with the team for the dad's trip. yeah, but since when have the blackhawks been up front about injuries? Well I think generally they will not say a guy is day-to-day if he's going to be out awhile. They didn't do that with Stalberg or Smith. There's been some ambiguity in terms of concussion-type injuries in the past -- Kim Johnsson comes to mind. Or maybe, for once, I'm just being an optimist.

You could see the shot hit his left hand, looked like the fingers. He started shaking his left hand almost immediately. Of course there is padding on the back of those gloves, but it's not that much. Just an uneducated opinion, but I think the fact that he is traveling with the team and being designated "day-to-day" suggests nothing is broken. That really was a great effort last night against a stubborn team that always seems to play us tough. Will be fun to see Versteeg and Campbell this week, though it seems like eons ago that Versteeg was on this team.

They play that boring defensive style and always manage to maintain a quick strike offense. There's nothing worse than watching a Nashville game where they have a two goal lead.
