    What is there to "catch on to?" Trying to get something from guys having down years or coming off of injuries/surgeries and the like is nothing new; even Hendry tried to do it, so it's not like the FO has stumbled across something new that everyone is slapping their foreheads for not figuring this out before. I just went and looked, I thought Hammel's peripherals last season were much better than they were. You're right, I don't see anything other than our guys being good at picking the right guys here. Side note-Hamels has a 20 team NTC that we're on. 20 team NTC? What a dick

    Because Vogelbach is not close to ready, might not ever be good and might not ever be able to stick at 1B. And Schwarber has not played 1B and is in A ball. And Rizzo is one of the best values in all of baseball. Yeah, I just realized that myself...bad question

    With some talk on another thread about "possibility" of Castro being moved due to Baez/Russell as possible replacements, why no talk of Rizzo getting moved for the same reason (Schwarber/Vogelbach? Edit: Castro replacements are highly touted and Rizzo's aren't - there's my answer
