  1. Or Aldridge which we had and traded for Tyrus
  2. That's the thing I hate about Tyrus...There's always wow moments because he's a freak...He can't just be decent sometimes it's either horrible or wow He's been more wow than horrible for the last 2-3 weeks. I know, but it won't last he's a headcase, but I agree he has been more wow lately I don't *necessarily* agree. It's more about finding a role to Tyrus to maximize his strengths. He's not going to be a star in the league. The only way he'll be an all star is if he becomes an uber-defensive/hustle guy for a championship contender. But he can be an important piece/solid contributor for a contender if he stays within his game. He's not going to be a jump shooter, he's not going to develop great post moves. He is going to hustle, get rebounds, get steals and get weak side blocks (is a great weak side defender). If he does that, he'll be a better version of Tyson Chandler (meaning that he has more offensive game and better hands than TC). Thomas is like 4inches shorter than Chandler...I mean I agree he has more of an offensive game than him and has better hands...I think there's a better player to compare him to I just don't know who ha Tyrus has a better vertical than Tyson meaning he can do many similar things as him. Tyson was a skinny, semi-athletic big with soft hands and a weak frame. Tyrus is a average sized, very athletic player who has a long reach that allows him to play bigger than his actual height. Being shorter didn't stop Ben Wallace or Dennis Rodman from playing a similar (definitely not completely the same) style of ball as Tyson, but doing it better. yeah, but Tyrus has better hands then Wallace and Rodman as well...I know what your trying to say and I basically agree...I just don't think he'll ever really develop because he's a little to much of a headcase to me

  6. Also he's one of the more reliable defenders on the team
  7. He called it on the dude defending in the post who gave a little shove to the back before the ball arrived. The only problem with that was he waited to call it a full second and a half later once Moore came down and stripped the ball. Weak. plus it looked to me like the second defender got him across the wrists. i think it was a good call. they called way too many off-the-ball fouls but whatever, northwestern shouldn't have been playing basketball's version of prevent D for the last 8 minutes of the game. They were calling way to many off the ball fouls on both teams and that last one was what they were calling on us all game...He definitely forearmed him to try to get him father out....We looked bad though and Northwestern took care of the ball....Also Kramer has become a little B when it comes to getting fouled, but I have to say he finishes every layup when he fouled
  8. I'd prefer Sanchez obviously, but what happened with the Leftwich talks?
  9. Agreed...Your trading a 4th outfielder, a utility infielder, and a pitcher who can't throw a strike let alone pitch
  10. he'll say go Pro. they interviewed him before the Rose Bowl and he more or less said that he encourages his kids to go pro if their draft stock is high. yeah and this is the perfect time for him to go. it's a weak qb class and he probably projects to be the #2 qb selected, behind stafford. next year he'd be picked behind mccoy, bradford, and possibly a couple other guys. Really? I would think he'd be a better pro than both of those guys. i guess you might think that, but consensus around the league does not agree with you. I (although I have no voice in the league what-so-ever) would tend to agree with jersey here. Mccoy over Sanchez? no way. i guess i would pick mccoy over sanchez, but i've never had the boner for the rocket arm that nfl teams have. bradford is ahead of sanchez everywhere i've seen mock drafts, though. I hold a grudge against all gimmicky spread offense type QB's though. The Big 12 QBs all had the benefit of playing horrible defenses. I agree I think Stafford probably played against the best defenses compared with Bradford, Mccoy, and Sanchez. The only thing the makes me think twice is Stafford had the least gaudy numbers
  11. http://www.espn.com Ah alright thank you....I wonder why Clayton was saying that last night then
  12. So is Bradford going pro I feel like I've heard that he is and he isn't? And then I saw on Sportscenter that Clayton has him going #1
  13. It's been horrid for basically the whole season. But you can't really point to one guy on the team and legitimately say that his defense has been good for the better portion of the year. That falls on Del Negro. Agree the guy has players on his team that still don't understand the plays...That's what Noah was getting yelled at about.
  14. That's nonsense. It's one thing to leave for greener pastures in the middle of a contract, but to interview again immediately after taking a job shows a complete lack of credibility. He's probably just trying to get a raise from the Bears so they can ensure they keep him. That definitely could be the case, but again that's a douche move to do to the Bears and like I said it's good in his best interest, but not us
  15. Well I do as a Bears fan, but yeah obviously he's clearly doing in his best interest which I don't blame him...Douche move maybe was a little harsh
  16. Well that's odd. Why would you accept a position just to interview for another? Security. If he interviews, fire him. Take a page from BC's book. Got to agree with Soul here...That's just a douche move. It would have been one thing if he was interviewing for both, but he just accepted the job
  17. They were talking Hoke up in the paper today...but what?
  18. Oden looks like he's about 55yrs old and Kane looks like he's 12yrs old
  19. Thought that was a cool story too...My only problem the only reason Kane went to a BULLS game was to see Oden
  20. Just about to post this. He hit 15-of-22 shots including 10-of-15 3-pointers. Also hit all 14 free throws. Most points in a single game in Kentucky history. And looking at his stats, he's also had a 46 point game (hit 9 threes), and games of 39, 37 and 32 (hit 8 threes). The old record was 53 points, set by Dan Issel way back in the 1969-70 season. Issel also had a 51-point game the same season. The ESPN game announcers are talking Meeks up as a possible national player of the year contender. And not mentioned in the previous posts was that the game was at Tennessee (who had a long home winning streak going), and Kentucky won 90-72. That was sick not only did he only take 22 shots, but he also had like 4 assists. Plus they blew out Tennessee. Those highlights were really cool to watch
  21. That was great
  22. I can agree with you on both points...Once they are both at the combine people will be talking up Sanchez more than Bradford....Mays not going pro though might give him a reason to stay
  23. The big question now for USC is the future of quarterback Mark Sanchez. He is expected to return for his senior season, but that decision could be altered if Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford announces he is turning pro before Thursday's deadline. NFL analysts project Sanchez could be the No. 2 quarterback taken in the draft behind Georgia quarterback Matthew Stafford if Bradford stays in college. They really project Sanchez over Bradford? I haven't seen much about it him in the mock drafts I've seen, but what are the odds he goes pro? I haven't seen anybody project Sanchez over Bradford. If anything, most mocks have Bradford going before Stafford and Sanchez not even in the top 10. Most say Stafford in the top 10, Bradford somewhere in the middle of the first and then like I said I haven't heard much about Sanchez
