    The PBP guy said Bryant's home run was a "pop up" at first as well. He kinda sounds like if Gilbert Gottfried did play by play I kept translating his voice into a more Gilbert Gottfried voice as I heard it. It made me with he DID do play by play for some Iowa games.

    Can you elaborate further for those of us who do not have time to hunt for this wonderful news? The news is comparing the apparent not so great return for Price compared to netting Addison Russel + a guy who's probably on the verge of a top 100 spec.

    You know how everyone always talks about not trading much for a 2 month rental? Now apply that to a guy who's had a .630 OPS after a crazy unsustainable hot first month, and a reliever who probably kind of sucks. Yeah, it's all relative. Our return should be considered high for what we gave up. An organizational top 10 for empending FA that aren't that great. That IS a high "get". If you expected anything approaching a top 100, you are silly, IMO.

    I laughed and wondered if Kyle would be a part of that before I clicked the link... Kyle is everywhere, do not defy the Kyle! But the question the guy asked really irked me. I mean he/she is not even a baseball fan. I never understood people that have this sort of mild passing sense of interest. To me you are either a ******* diehard and you KNOW your team or you are not a fan of all. None of this "umm, which team should I root for?" ****. kyle posts like a million times a day on the internet about baseball and he almost jumped shipped to the cardinals (after 08, iirc, of all times) Well then. I don't agree with that either. But that is a case of a diehard fan heartbroken. This guy asking the question on reddit sounds like he doesn't even care what team he roots for.

    yeah couple weird choices but oh well. Vogelbach over Mckinney? Just don't get it. Mckinney same level, much younger, ability to play adequate LF at least, and an apparent better bat.
