I'm kind of surprised that he's going to be out there in the 7th, even with only 88 pitches. I'd just get him out with a good outing.the quality start. Yeah, that would probably be the smart descision. Let him reflect on his good outing.

It's so nice to see rich hill do well. I'm so happy for him. Hopefully this start will go a long way to show him he has what it takes. .

Details, plz, for those who are just a smidge out of CSN Chicago's range. I think it hit the vines then it bounced way back into the feild and jones had to chase it, but pierre got to it first. (I was half asleep and am just now waking up. Saw the replay)

Dusty said yesterday that's where he planned on batting him. Good. Hopefully he could pick up his OBP again this year and next. He's certainly better than Cedeno or Perez there.

Boers and Bernstein harping on Dusty saying you need to give Cedeno 4 or 5 days before he plays 2B because he could get hurt turning a DP, and that he doesn't have the right glove. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Perhaps Cedeno is still working on his switch to 2nd base? Taking grounders or what ever. I'm trying here guys... Pretty inexcusable. That's easily the worst offensive middle IF in baseball. And also easily the best defensive MI in baseball!!

Is Izzy starting today? I hope so! I'll be at the game today sweating my arse off! WGN radio seems to think it's likely. Enjoy the weather!! Bring a poster about how the Cubs are chokers and maybe ryan dempster will sneak up on you and soak you with the water hose.

OMG STEVE STONE FOR GM~! HE TELLS IT LIKE IT IS, CURVEBALL OUTSIDE CORNER!! I was just throwing it out there. I never advocated Stone as GM. I've pointed to Hawk Harrelson's failed short tenure as GM of the Sox as a precursor to Stone becoming a GM(which he never will). Maybe Steve sees him as able to improve offensively. If that's why he likes him, then I like him too. .
