    I hate doing play by play because I can't talk to people. :lol: but I'll still do it. miller vs. ellis 0-0: strike 0-1: ball 1-1: swing and miss 1-2: ball 2-2: in the dirt (atleast these announcers know what they are talking about, talking about kerry's soarness after 60-70 pitches) 3-2: (throw to first, safe), SWING and a MISS! 2 outs.

    at least it wasn't on the first pitch with 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th. but it was on the first pitch. We're not exactly worrying about running up a guy's pitch counts in ST. :lol: I honestly beleive Lou is. That's why I'm happy about him being the manager.

    Yeah, pretty good. What a nice guy. I'm sure he invests his money wisely. I did the math one time I'm not sure how accurate it is but I estimated if you put your money in a good bank just 1 million would earn you an interest of $50,000 each year.

    The Stepford wives were drugged up and showed little emotion. I agree with Rob, he is saying all the right things, hopefullly he does them too. Doesn't that make it a correct analogy? He's saying "I like some emotional players on my team. You can't have 25 zombies out there. You need a combination of personalities." Yes that does make it correct. That's what I figured he meant. BTW anybody can see a video clip of that interview on cubs.com (inside the kerry wood article).
