  2. He has been injured. And he's pacing himself. When you play with Gasol, you have another solid big next to you so you don't have to be superman. I'm getting more and more sure that Deeg has been taken over by that cynosure guy.
  3. People make fun of him even beyond him [expletive] his pants, and it pretty obviously doesn't come from any kind of respect. He's a joke.
  4. hahahahahahahha what?! This is... Grobstein's proudest moment is when everyone else on the station made fun of him for [expletive] his pants in the studio. Nobody likes or respects the overnight weirdo.
  5. Welcome to the Trestman regime Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? But Kaplan and his sycophants were crowing about how the other players must appreciate that there's finally some accountability!
  6. Odds are he'll be injured. Rose wanted him, not Thibs. This is a brilliant plan to hobble him yet again.
  7. Do you really want to know the answer to that? He seriously might be the best option No. Who are you signing in FA, drafting, or trading for that is going to be better than Clausen? Nobody; I'm doing the smart thing and using Cutler. There's nobody to draft and the FA QB class sucks.
  8. Do you really want to know the answer to that? He seriously might be the best option No.
  9. We all thought the same when McCown took over last year It was a fluke.
  10. There are no franchise QB's in the next draft.
  11. Then they truly are a bunch of hopeless idiots; everyone knows Claussen is football garbage.
  12. No stats are necessary; just post pictures: http://cdn1.sbnation.com/imported_assets/319264/jimmy-clausen.jpg http://usatthebiglead.files.wordpress.com/2012/05/jimmy-clausen1.jpg http://a.espncdn.com/media/motion/2010/0414/dm_100414_gruden_clausen.jpg http://i973.photobucket.com/albums/ae216/osmlb2k10/JimmyClausenPanthers.jpg I've never seen a second of this idiot playing that I can recall and I find it incredibly easy to hate him with the power of a thousand suns.
  13. This is an absolutely astonishing collapse.
  14. It's a team with a ton of money in a huge market and it's the NFL; I don't see it ever being an issue for them filling the head coach or GM spots unless the ownership turns into Jerry Jones-types.
  15. Listen to the parade of sad sack callers on this show is infuriating; I honestly think Theo and co. were completely aware that most Chicago sports fans are miserable masochists who think they deserve and need to have the worst possible teams before anything can happen. How many more dumb fucks are going to call in bemoaning the Bears as a spot nobody will want to run as a coach or a GM, or convinced that the Bears have to "blow it all up" and be horrible for a couple seasons? One guy even just compared it favorably to the Cubs, like that's the right/only way to fix a bad team! Go [expletive] yourselves, Chicago sports fans. I hate your stupid guts and I hope you die.
  16. Man, that [expletive] blows. DAMN YOU, SIMEON CURSE.
  17. This amount of unnecessary detail makes me feel like I'm interviewing a witness on Law & Order.
  18. ALL of the Cubs chatter has gone silent. *Fidgets nervously*
  19. To me, "just wait a few months before committing to a long term LF" is a bit more reasonable than "just trade Myers if Bryant can't play 3B". Conversely you could just call Bryant an OF now and meet your future today, but that's less sexy because it lowers Bryant's value a tad and there aren't a ton of good 3B options that aren't already Cubs. It's just slightly bothersome to effectively have two nebulous positions when were dancing around the whole "do they go for it this year or not." If Myers can be had for a smart deal and think he's going to bounce back I'd like to think they'd do it. I'd just prefer something more long term as opposed to another rental, especially since I look at Soler as the only real OF answer they have right now (No, I'm not all that sold on Al Contra).
  20. Wait, we have to keep two positions open for Bryant? That's ridiculous. If he pans out offensively and has to move to LF because he's a butcher at 3B then you just trade Myers.
  21. uh, can we jump in on that? Unless they'd take Baez, I don't know if it would make sense for us. Uhhhhh, why the hell not?
  22. I'm going for fun bad. We've been wallowing in that for a while. I'd settle for guys we need to be good next year not looking like complete dog [expletive].
