    It's a team with a ton of money in a huge market and it's the NFL; I don't see it ever being an issue for them filling the head coach or GM spots unless the ownership turns into Jerry Jones-types.

    Listen to the parade of sad sack callers on this show is infuriating; I honestly think Theo and co. were completely aware that most Chicago sports fans are miserable masochists who think they deserve and need to have the worst possible teams before anything can happen. How many more dumb fucks are going to call in bemoaning the Bears as a spot nobody will want to run as a coach or a GM, or convinced that the Bears have to "blow it all up" and be horrible for a couple seasons? One guy even just compared it favorably to the Cubs, like that's the right/only way to fix a bad team! Go [expletive] yourselves, Chicago sports fans. I hate your stupid guts and I hope you die.

    To me, "just wait a few months before committing to a long term LF" is a bit more reasonable than "just trade Myers if Bryant can't play 3B". Conversely you could just call Bryant an OF now and meet your future today, but that's less sexy because it lowers Bryant's value a tad and there aren't a ton of good 3B options that aren't already Cubs. It's just slightly bothersome to effectively have two nebulous positions when were dancing around the whole "do they go for it this year or not." If Myers can be had for a smart deal and think he's going to bounce back I'd like to think they'd do it. I'd just prefer something more long term as opposed to another rental, especially since I look at Soler as the only real OF answer they have right now (No, I'm not all that sold on Al Contra).
