To me, clowns aren't funny. In fact, they're kinda scary. I've wondered where this started and I think it goes back to the time I went to the circus and a clown killed my dad.

That and the Giants just aren't a better team than us. They have some injured guys on offense, and their starting rotation is terrible. Also, they don't get to play us again, while we play both the Pirates and the Cardinals at least six times each. We can make up games quickly head-to-head. ARCubsFan would respond to this measured, well-reasoned explanation, except he's too busy at his job being Fredbird. -
