I hope he and the bearded pitchers encourage the others to step up their beard game. But mostly I just want to see Rizzo try to grow one. -
"Javy" still seems weird and lame and I am blaming it for all of his struggles. JAVIER Baez sounds like a mighty champion of the people and he will be a monster of baseball this year.

Comcast (and other ISP's) are notorious for doing throttling they don't notify you of, regardless of what you're paying for. When I was in Chicago I had their increased "blast" data plan and figured out they were throttling us after using it for about 3 months. Called to complain and they gave me the blast option free for a year (it was only an extra $10 each month, so, meh), but they would still periodically throttle it if my roommate was doing a ton of gaming or if we were downloading too many, uh, "acquired" files via FTP transfers.

Well, that's not a bandwidth issue so much as a shitty ISP issue. Most of the time if they're capping or charging extra fees it's just because they think they can as opposed to actual limitations.

Off the top of my head the Bears have seemingly been alright when it comes to trades and signings. There are obvious busts, but the drafting aspect just sticks out more because they've been SO bad at it for so long.

And the random arguments about how the Cubs aren't that good because they don't have enough pitching to win a World Series. Though I did see an odd number of people saying things like "now the Cubs easily have the best rotation in baseball." Apparently the Cubs are all things to all people.

Plus people flat out slamming Heyward for being so greedy compared to good ol' Jake. Of course, then there's scores of people who apparently think Arrieta is a single season fluke and that he can't be relied on because of how his season ended.

I made a quick attempt to try to find it and nearly had a heart attack reading FB comments about baseball. I don't know why reading people's stupid thoughts and/or opinions raises my blood pressure so much. The sheer amount of people commenting on these articles who seemingly have no clue as to what salary arbitration is is...interesting.
