    Crush the Marlins early? Late 4 run rally? 16th inning walkoff? Breaking the longest active save streak? Crush a pitcher who hasn't lost at home since early April with and ERA in the 1's? What type of win will it be? Oh, I have no doubt that this is when they'll actually lose, because THAT'S actually more annoying right now than them gaining ground, especially when it's a game the Cubs should have won.

    Arrieta threw like 4 balls combined to his last 2 hitters, umpire refused to call them. I'd have to go back and look but I don't think one pitch to the second guy was really close to being a legit bad call ball. Yeah, he just whiffed on the second guy, but the first guy he struck out twice and it didn't get called.

    Arrieta starting the inning was fine; he got that hump out but got shafted on the calls. At that point, however, he should have been pulled.
