    Any org that will use multiple variations of "we've gotta cut costs; times are tough" on the one hand, and then uses the other hand at the same time to continue to jack up ticket prices time and time again can go eat all of my shorts. They're never getting another cent from me.

    The road of farts continues. The Cubs play the Reds, who Cubswin11 talks about like they're some kind of lurking threat, which is weird. The only lurking threat is the Cubs' suckiness, which isn't actually lurking at all, and is more basking in the nude, legs akimbo, scaring away anyone who dares to look at it.     Dude is maybe the most crystal clear example of The Sulley Philosophy of Life played out in full. It's a lock he's a true two outcome player in terms of his baseball future: he is either going to sign with the Cubs and be a perennial "what could have been" as he has season after season interrupted and hobbled by injuries, and likely with another single god-tier season right in the middle just to further twist the knife....or he signs somewhere else and magically heals (AKA gets away from the Cubs' leech barbers) and mashes for years and years. It's impossibly anything else will happen. He is a human monkey's paw.

Total starlin gif reaction from me at my breakfast table. I could be wrong, but I feel like I remember him saying something about the Ricketts being owners/Addison Russell being on the team as dampening his enjoyment of the cubs before he basically stopped posting. Yeah, Duke said the Cubs being run by and employing turd humans completely turned him off to following them, and killed the fun of talking about them. Good for him.
