I have a feeling that the 9th inning is going to be when they finally hit the tough stretch of their schedule. -
Look, the Brewers still have...*checks watch*...about 20 minutes to finally start to fade away.
-
It's so terrible that they have to play more bad baseball tomorrow.
-
If Kintzler induces a soft contact for the first time in his tenure on the Cubs and it results in a DP, I'm all the way back in and they're winning this.
-
FJMFJMFJMFJMFJMFJMFJMFJMFJMFJMFJMFJM Makes stupid lineups. Can't manage a bullpen. Assembles horrendous coaching teams. They got what they needed out of him with a young team; move the horsefeathers on.
-
Well, I guess it'll only be a vaunted celebration by a division rival at Wrigley.
-
It's been only polar for a while now.
-
Al because Maddon thought Tommy La Stella had to face the Brewers' bullpen with nobody on, 2 outs, and Heyward after him. FJM
-
Shoulda walked him.
-
Just walk him already. Get it over with and stop making him throw more pitches.
-
Hahahah! The division comes down to likely walking Cain so they can face Yelich with the bases loaded. Of course. Don't get me with their record; this season is agonizing, fat in the middle turd that shreds everything it comes in contact with.
-
Cubs should get one of them there....what are they called again? Oh yeah: BULLPENS OF DOOM.
-
I have a feeling I'm about to go right back to hating Justin Wilson again.
-
Why the flunk did Chavez not take that AB. FJM
-
THANK YOU.
-
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuck. In every other timeline he absolutely murders that meatball.
-
Damn; this dude painted that strike 2 perfectly.
-
I will straight up break down and weep right here in the middle of my damn office if Baez dongs right now.
-
Maybe Murphy can remember he's also Big Game Heartbreaker Guy in addition to being Generally Terrible Guy.
-
When you're facing a team that barely hits for power, it's pretty easy to shift on the regular to cover the wimpy grounders they were relying on in the first half.
-
Willson, remember how good it felt when you gave that dong some air yesterday? Do that again, please.
-
I'm gonna laugh/cry/puke when Yelich ends up being the Brewers' version of Josh Donaldson or Joey Bats.
-
Duke, start shaving that sweet monk 'do right now.
-
If the Cubs actually take the lead this inning, I swear on everything that is holy that Duke will devote his life to the church.
-
How scared and quiet is the crowd? Usual Chicago standards, or even worse?
