  1. Look, I want Murton to play as much as anyone, but he's really doing his best to argue his way out of his starts. I know he's young, but come on...how does someone regress THAT much?
  2. Way to look even worse than Jacque, Murton.
  3. Ugh...I know that scored one, but they're lucky that wasn't a DP. Even when we score it looks hideous and weak.
  4. Len pointed out that in Marshall's 10 losses, he has received a grand total of 10 runs of offensive support from his team. Now, I'm not saying that Marshall is some dynamo pitcher missing out on a ton of chances...just that that stat makes me sad.
  5. To be honest, they were always around. Sucky Cubs just happen to be better than the Suckier Pirates and Suckiest Nationals. Not last year If last years team was an F, this one is a D+ at best. Considering the amount of resources that were spent on the team and the fact that the injuries have been minimal, shouldn't this be an F as well? I only give them the higher grade because they'll somehow win more games and I think the starting pitching is better.

  12. Quite. So I guess the Aardsma trade was a net win for the Sox? He's at least still around, and I don't hear a lot of negativity over him coming from the South Side. I hear people specifically complaining about Aardsma when they talk about the Sox bullpen on the sports radio around here.
  13. Wells gives up 6 runs. Marshall gives up 18. We lose.
  14. I wish we had batters who could capitalize on the few mistakes a good pitcher makes.
  15. He gave up a cheapie to RF and 3 no doubters. Cameron had two of them. Other than Cameron, Hill really didn't do too badly against the rest of the lineup. I finally noticed he also had 8 k's, so at least there's that. And it's not like he put the Cubs' bats to sleep.
