I don't think Wells said anything, but there was a quote from Peavy basically saying that he didn't appreciate Soriano showing them up and that he doesn't show up hitters when he strikes them out, or something to that effect. Nah, Wells did say something about how he doesn't appreciate a batter watching their homers as long as Soriano did as he backed up down the baseline.

A bad performance wouldn't suprise me after 130 pitches last time out Actually, I'm only posting that for reverse jinx. I posted it the last two games, and the pitchers proved me wrong, so I hope your guess is wrong, too. If you post that something is a reverse jinx, doesn't that reverse the reverse and make it a jinx? It actually doesn't work at all, and means nothing. Yeah.

Deal with it. I think that disrespectufl bashing of players sucks and is pathetic. I have every right to voice that opinion. If you think it's cool, so be it. If message boards could be rid of annoyances, there would be none that exist. I annoy you, the bashing annoys me. I'm done talking about this. If Mojo and CubbieChris think Barrett is awful and has always been mediocre to bad, then so be it. I can certainly have my own opinion of those views. Fine, but how am I being disrespectful with my posts about Barrett? I've said that I thought he had a good bat...I just don't like him as a catcher, and I never have. I really don't see how that "deserves" getting jumped on like I did for things I said that have nothing to do with that opinion or how I said it.

How can you hate the guy? I hate that his career has been derailed by injury, but love Kerry. I feel bad for him he was picked by the Cubs. Don't feel too bad, he loves it here. He obviously has no regrets being a Cub. Yeah, and based on those recent interviews, it really sounds like the only way he'd not stick around is if the Cubs flat out told him they didn't want him back.
