Agreed, but they needed to upgrade those even if Barrett stayed. I know guys slump, but Barrett's bat had been awful for two months now...should we really expect it to get significantly better over the course of his final season here?

At least wait until something official says what the trade actually is before unleashing your venom. This is basically the trade....Barrett and Bowen the main swap. No Linebrink. But that's not the entire trade. We don't know what else is going on.
