Did someone say something? http://aggiefamilypack.ucdavis.edu/0106/images/depressed.jpg "You can't see me!" If I can't see them, then maybe all the laughing will stop...

    Who the hell is PriorPower?

I know people love to hate him, but Ohman has been doing really well lately, especially against lefties. He's not someone who should just be ignored like Eyre.

I doubt Bowen will start, even if he does get to the park in time I doubt they throw him out there right away. Why not? Might as well get him acclimated to suckage as soon as possible. "Welcome to the suck." http://www.chinapost.com.tw/news_images/20070603/p7g-1.jpg

I predict Marquis will continue his inevitable decline.

Do you mean leaving the game early? To be fair, that's hardly the only reason people have issues with Sammy. I grew up watching the guy be the only reason to be a Cubs fan and I want to see him hit #600, but I also recognize that he was very much a "flawed hero" that has legitimate criticism that can be leveled at him, steroids or not.

How can you compare those sample sizes like they're even?

So the commentators...who ARE the company line...are "proof" that he sucks?

    Nay.

I could not agree more with every part of this.

Wells is terrible at holding runners.

How did EPatt's name even come up in the first place? That was scary.
  15. Sammy Sofa
Agreed, but they needed to upgrade those even if Barrett stayed. I know guys slump, but Barrett's bat had been awful for two months now...should we really expect it to get significantly better over the course of his final season here?

The caveat is that Lou gets to roll around in it naked.

I've seen the arguments for him spelled out...can you do the same from the other side?

    QFT.

The official details are still all over the place. If you want to decide which to believe, fine. Doesn't make it so at this time.

At least wait until something official says what the trade actually is before unleashing your venom. This is basically the trade....Barrett and Bowen the main swap. No Linebrink. But that's not the entire trade. We don't know what else is going on.

Bullpen had 5 1-2-3 innings with 9 strikeouts!
