That's good to hear....even though things were a little rough for Sean, I can't imagine that anyone with half a brain doesn't realize that a player that young who is used to being a starter getting his first MLB experience is likely going to have some growing pains. Sean's numbers in the minors speak for themselves, and I know I and many others look forward to seeing him develop further and eventually be a starter for the Cubs.

It's like the Cubs want to focus on trying to "fix" everything except the actual product on the field. It's crappy baseball feng shui. -
Ron was getting furious as the Cubs were stranding more and more players...usually he just sounds miserable, but he was much more angry this time. I know he said something like "watching this team is like agony" at one point.

waiting for proof He won a WS? So did Kenny Williams, technically. Would you gys all want him? If Walt was bringing the St. Louis coaching staff with him and Pujols, I'd like it. Since he wouldn't be, I can't take or leave him. He leans too much on scrapheap picking for my liking.

Man, I saw up until the 7th inning when I had to go to work....talk about frustration. Lilly looks like total crap for the first 2 innings and then manages to lock it down for the next 5? What the hell, Ted? 10 strikeouts and only 1 walk is nice, but those 5 runs early sure don't help. That said, you can hardly slot this one all on him since the Cubs leave 13 freaking guys stranded on base. Frustration.

What does him being on a horrible team have to do with whether or not he can still hit HR's? It doesn't effect whether he can or can't hit HR, it just means the HR's are meaningless in the scope of a team game. As a Cubs fan, you should know all about Sammy hitting 50 HR for hopelessly horrible teams Of course, but all the home run records are ultimately looked at as solo achievements, good team or not.

? He has been having a rough time with 3B of late. Is this really accurate? I'm asking this to anyone...I've seen him bobble a couple of plays, but he's had at the very least twice as many stellar grabs and saves.
