  1. Base hit for Murton! Lee scores, DeRosa to 3rd.
  2. DeRosa walks, Lee on 2nd, 2 outs, Murton up.
  3. Yes, it's awesome that he got out of it like he did, but he did look like crap a lot in that half inning. Definitely peaks and valleys with Mr. Hill.
  4. YES!!! What the hell did Rothschild say to Hill?!? "Hey, keep this up, Lou is going to eat you alive. Literally."
  5. Hill hits the batter, bases loaded, no outs.
  6. Hill's not getting much down below chest level.
  7. YES. Please pitch on Friday, Kerry.
  8. Blah-blah-blah... I'm tired of people acting like it's some huge deal when every so often some celeb gets up there and butchers the song. It's a practice made famous (not even originally with the Cubs) by a guy who's legendary for basically sounding like a slobbering drunk almost every time who got on the air, so pardon me if I don't lose any sleep thinking that some sacred tradition is being desecrated. If anything, Santo is too good for the whole mess. I really don't care about the legacy of a sloppy ex-Cardinals and White Sox announcer. BRING ON THE CELEBS! Infinitely more entertaining.
  9. Whatever he wants. Even if he wanted it paid in babies.
  10. So people are convinced a Cuban-owned Cubs would have no chance competing with the Yankees money-wise?
  11. God, if he makes his debut this season when I'm at the game on Friday, I will likely squeal like a little girl.
  12. If Cuban ends up owning the team, I see no reason why they wouldn't go hard trying to either trade for him next year or sign him.
  13. Whatever. I'm Audi 5000, babe.
  14. STOP BRINGING UP WHAT YOU SEE WITH YOUR OWN EYES AS IF IT SOMEHOW TRUMPS ALL OTHER BASEBALL ANALYSIS.
  15. Yay, he gives up :!: Because there's nothing to respond to. You rarely answer any direct points and you pull "facts" out of thin air and refuse to budge on them even when shown to be mistaken or wrong. It's like debating with a brick wall. No that's like arguing with brinoch, who suggests that theriot would be caught more often if he attempted more often. And the only thing he uses to suggest his theory is that pitcher's would pay more attention. I've seen Riot run the bases and there are very frequent pick-off attempts and I don't think anyone would argue that. brinoch on the other hand still can't support his argument, so he simply quits. :D The crux of your argument seems to entail what you actually see. You can't see everything. Your argument is severely flawed. I happen to follow the Cubs quite often so the idea that what I see isn't good enough is retorical. Are you implying that I have bad eyesight? No, I'm flat out saying that your eyes can't show you everything pertaining to a player's numbers and abilities short of you seeing every game and every play and having multiple angles and reviewing tools to do so, and even then you're still going to get things wrong.

  18. Yet you still boast no evidence or fact to support your theory. Wow, talk about the pot calling the kettle black. You declaring something to be a "fact" is not presenting evidence.
