I'd tolerate Girardi if it meant Hendry being fired. I really don't know if I could take Sandberg as manager with a new GM. That seems like a recipe for catastrophe.
Yeah, the Marlins were being a bunch of fucks over this. Morgan has been acting like an ass himself, but when you've already hit him and other Nats, why keep it up? They were obviously trying to get this to this level.
Because anyone hired now gets saddled with this terrible team, even just for a month. They can easily have an agreement in principle that will become official once the season is over. Man, I hope this happens.
Yes. This wasn't the only time recently that someone seriously brought up that movie as "proof" of Aramis dogging out, so that coupled with this tangent made it seem very possible you were for reals.
About Aramis being "afraid" to get in front of the ball. There's not much that can be done about improving the defense short of letting Castro continuing to develop at the position, but as it's been pointed out out, the defense of this team isn't really a pressing issue in the face of other needs.
Why would you hold the lack of runs against him because he had so many walks? And if you're trying to spin the relative lack of RBI as some kind of knock against him, it should be a simple matter to demonstrate that he's not a good hitter with RISP or the various situations with runners on base.
His runs and RBI totals haven't been mind-blowing because most of the teams he's been on have ranged from average to horrible. Those are also some of the worst factors that you can judge a hitter by.
