  1. I don't know what "esp makeup" means, but the rest is clearly saying that the front office guys with the Padres used to work in the front office of the Red Sox and felt more comfortable going with a package that had prospects they were more familiar with.
  2. How can any mortal put a a price tag on such effortless and transcendent ability? It's insulting.
  3. I thought you would realize I was being sarcastic, but apparently not. Next time I'll post it in green. Probably prudent given your reputation.
  4. Bears win, 34-26. It's in the bag.
  5. Why? They're going to win the division handily.
  6. As long as there is a 3rd team involved it should be pretty easy Excellent.
  7. The Cubs can find a taker for Soriano the moment they're willing to pay 75%+ of his remaining salary and take garbage in return. Don't be silly and think anything else is realist-....oh, it's BtB. Nevermind.
  8. It's amusing how many Cubs fans cling to this idea that Hendry is some kind of exceptionally bad GM instead of just being a typically bad one. So many dreams are going to be crushed after he's finally gone.
  9. *Phew* Those days when Cutler was worse than the receivers and the running game and the OL were dark indeed.
  10. He is better than OK right now. He is playing like a top 10 QB, the QB he should have been all along. I give Jay and the line some credit. But the line only gets credit for not being the worst in the league the last few games. When Jay got here he was expected to bring with him Pro Bowl talent. It's finally nice to see it on a consistent basis. So he's not the Weak Link anymore?
  11. It was arguably a bad call the gave the Bears a break, but there Bears were moving the ball well and Cutler got the 1st down regardless of that call. It's a stretch to say that call gave them the game. And I like how Wilson's argument has mutated to "yeah, Cutler is OK, but he's not as good as the three best QB's in football!"
  12. Yeah, it's less the money so much as the years he wants. I really wouldn't have a problem with 5/$125 or 6/$120.
  13. That was some seriously dumb [expletive].
  14. Who gives a [expletive]? The Bears are going to win the division. That last game isn't going to mean [expletive]. PRINT IT. Be bold, pussies.
  15. Yessssssssssssssssssssssssssss. OK, I can breathe again. Jay rules.
  16. He's 20 for 25 with a TD. Are you serious? I'm pretty sure kujay was kidding, but I had a quick image of this season with Orton at the helm and I started crying.
  17. Nice save there by Hester.
  18. Punch to the back of the head = cheap shot, yes. Yeah, that's not what happened. Yeah, it really was what happened. I know, through green and gold sunglasses, that was a wrap-up tackle, but in the real world that's a forearm punch to the back of the head. I have no dog in this fight as I'm a Chiefs fan, and it looked bad because Cutler went down so hard, but he didn't use his forearm it was his open hands and he was hit in the top of the pads, not the helmet. Agreed. Bears definitely caught a break with the penalty.
  19. More of that, please.
  20. What was it? A two hand shove to the head.
  21. You [expletive] morons.
  22. It was a cheap shot but it wasn't a forearm to the back of the head like the official said.
  23. He's obviously not going to get that much, but yeah, pass.
