  1. Lonnie Chisenhall: DEFINITELY can contribute. Anthony Rizzo: ehhhhhhhh, MAYBE he can pull it out of his butt.
  2. Name these players that the FO office have even remotely come close to declaring as "sure things."
  3. Oh, THOSE guys definitely can contribute to the Cubs' future, but Starlin Castro only might do the same.
  4. I'm a huge Bulls fan and think Rose is nifty keen, but man, he is as dumb as a cinderblock.
  5. Wait, what? MIGHT? What the [expletive] laid its eggs in your brain?
  6. Let's pair it up with davell telling us his hopes for 2013 for the bajillionth time.
  7. As soon as the season is over, I'm going to do a massive post outlining, among other things, the 2012 Cubs' WAR by position and outlining why we were so bad. It'll be a nice jumping-off point for what to do in 2013. http://cdn.uproxx.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/steve-carell-no.gif
  8. [expletive], I so would have won this if I didn't get a grand total of about 20 home runs form my #1 picks.
  9. Clearly Shopped.
  10. That's like offering me a big bowl of dog poop.
  11. That's....creepy.
  12. They're the "by cracky" guys, right? Yeah, I'm sticking with that.
  13. Lord, that Fecal League [expletive] is dick punch-worthy.
  14. You say "even Bernstein" like he wasn't some mope with a terrible radio show and awful sports opinions before this. Did anyone even read the article? God, no. He's horrible regardless.
  15. Don't let that Bears shirt off easy.
  16. Hah! Great point; it's not like the guy gave anything away except that they won. What, would someone actually prefer if they got home and got to witness a terrible loss without any spoilers?
  17. You couldn't know what happened? Is this 1979? Who wants to watch their favorite team play via Gamecast? Far more people are going to try and find out the score via live updates than are going to try and avoid all news until they can watch a replay. Eh, not me. I've got multiple friends who turn their phones off and wait to get home. Wearing the Bears gear was a bad idea, I agree. Yeah, I'm not saying NOBODY records it, but you'd think someone who did would do everything they could to keep someone from talking about it. Wearing a team's gear is basically an invitation for someone to bring it up.
  18. You couldn't know what happened? Is this 1979? Who wants to watch their favorite team play via Gamecast? Far more people are going to try and find out the score via live updates than are going to try and avoid all news until they can watch a replay.
  19. Why did he "have to know" that? If he "has to know" anything it's that in today's world it's easier than ever to check scores and keep track of a game and assume that's what most people do. If anything it's more realistic for you to ask your wife to not wear anything that's going to encourage someone to talk about the game.
  20. Under your breath or in your head, I hope... No kidding. If he's not exaggerating that's straight up psycho-behavior.
  21. You say "even Bernstein" like he wasn't some mope with a terrible radio show and awful sports opinions before this.
  22. Oh, dur; 66-69.
  23. That's every douchejerk in Wrigleyville every night.
  24. I have no idea what I actually picked. I just remember saying I wouldn't be surprised if they won 10 more games than last year or if they lost 10 more games than last year.
