  1. The guy was throwing strikes; it's not like you just take pitches to take pitches if the guy is putting them in the zone. Plus it's the top of the first, so it's not like they had to give Feldman a break or anything.

  3. Feldman is the only one they need to try and move. This is a terrible idea. (Nobody's arguing with him; we're just enjoying him trying to explain himself)
  4. To me it came off as him saying hockey is a trashy sport, and my point was that given the fans have the highest average income it might be hard to make that case. It was just a goofy exaggeration to say; also known as hyperbole. I was originally going to go say "live in the zoo," but rats seemed funnier. I had no idea hockey fans were concerned about such things.
  5. NHL fans have the highest average income among fans of the big 4 sports, by a good amount. Rich scumbags loving their crappy sport for jerks...and?
  6. Damn right; those hockey animals get to go live with the rats.
  7. I'm not watching, but my guess is you saw Valbuena, who's going for an X-Ray on his thumb after his slide into 3rd. [expletive]. Aggressive baserunning = bad.
  8. Really, really, really, REALLY hate aggressive baserunning.
  9. What? No. Either way, I thought it was going to be a triple off the bat. That's odd. I kind of did at first since the right fielder was playing so far off the line. but, he got to the ball really quick. Didn't seem like much of a shot to me; and as fast as he got to the ball the 3B coach should know a LOT better.

  11. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8BrvO7LykDo Nice. There are people who think that's a bad movie. Those people are bad people.
  12. So you want him to "take a break" for an indefinite period of time...then simply plug him back into the starting rotation later on in the season?
  13. Yes. Why? When Garza returns, someone's going to be booted from the rotation spot. It shouldn't be one of the guys we could be showcasing for trade value. Shark clearly still has the stuff he's had all along, but he's been wilder his past few starts. Seems to be more mental than physical. Maybe it has something to due with frustration over lack of run support. You're doing this on purpose, right? Just say that you are before it's too late.
  14. With the prospects of Soriano/DeJesus being traded, how is that pointless? Because they're Ryan Sweeney, Dave Sappelt, Scott Hairston and Julio Borbon. You were pissed, yet again, and just looking for the bajillionth way to slam some of the players. Whether they're all AAAA outfielders or not, there has to be some sort of depth chart. And Sappelt has slammed himself. They're all varying degrees of suck; hence why they're part time players.

  16. Uh, TT, DeJesus is very obviously "shielded by a platoon" this season.
