If you're looking for someone with PH HR success recently then Navarro is your guy. "Recently" is pretty relative. Plus, he has like 5 other hits all year. His offensive line as a sub was this going into today: .500 .545 1.100 1.645

I'm really not sweating using either him or an incredibly flawed hitter against a really good pitcher in Soriano in that spot.

Closest I could come to Bears colors on a hockey uni. Weird to hear a Cubs fan say they don't hate the Mets but I guess that's the norm now. I can't really think of a reason for a Cubs fan in his 20's to hate the Mets. Are we supposed to hate the Mets because of '69? I guess; I mean, it's only been about 20 years since they stopped being divisional rivals. I was just "taught" to dislike the Mets as much as the Cardinals when I was a kid and it's always stuck.

No. Either you can play or you can't and you sit until the pain goes away on its own. Playing through the pain isn't going to make the PF itself "worse."

So playing someone a fair amount of minutes helps a person get over plantar fasciitis? You don't even understand what plantar fasciitis is. Are your chances greater or not that it flares up if you overuse someone? Not really, no.

A person can play multiple games with PF and have little to no pain and then can have it just inexplicable kick in sitting around on an off-day. You either can play on it or not; sitting doesn't help it or make it "better."

Come on, guys, you can totally avoid Deng's illness with rest. And everyone knows that sitting someone cures plantar fasciitis. Would Rose have been injured if he was on the bench? I REST MY CASE.
