I just like that we finally reached the point that you actually have people saying that others can't enjoy it when the Cubs are good again because they've been too negative. I guess it was inevitable, but still pretty hilarious.

Asking if any one missed FA signing would have made a difference is a loaded question; it's a self-fulfilling prophecy when you spend MULTIPLE offseasons passing on guys who, yes, on their own wouldn't have been the difference-maker, but who would have been steps to not fielding a hot mess. It really feels like they're just holding spots for their [expletive] prospects.

Yeah, but who is or was legitimately arguing that Abreu is better overall? The question basically was "why is the local sports press going nuts over him and essentially ignoring Rizzo?" That should have been painfully obvious even before it was brought up.
