  1. http://www1.skysports.com/FIFA-World-Cup-2014/news/15241/9371324/the-best-world-cup-ever But how can this be, as the U.S. did not take home the Golden Ball?
  2. Great peripherals. 3.80FIP 2.89xFIP K rate has jumped up almost a full 2.5k/9 this year. Ooooh, me likee.
  3. I watched a couple episodes a week ago and it is amazingly bizarre. Everyone screams all of their dialog, almost nothing happens, and the main plot is about these giant, naked, humanoid-looking monsters that eat people, and the humans trying to stop them. It's vore porn for tone deaf weirdos.
  4. I'm an obsessive dork about so many things, but I can safely say none of them are as rape-y as that stuff.
  5. Wait, why does McCarthy keep coming up? Is it just assumed that Bosio can fix him?
  6. Weren't there a couple of anime weirdos that used to post here? Kyle, seek them out.
  7. abuck is the stealth MVP of this thread.
  8. I think most active people here are 30-50.
  9. i knew you'd have some lame ass answer like grace or sandberg smh Yeah what a dumb little kid I was... Well, yeah...Shawon Dunston was my favorite player when I was a little kid and I thought there wasn't anyone better, but he's not going to still be my pick at [expletive] 35.
  10. Gotcha. My mistake.
  11. 2001 sammy is up there too for me...although 98 sammy did have june of 1998 which was just stupid That June was just obscene. Following him was so much damn fun, and defending him against meatballs was one of my first steps to looking beyond the typical back of the baseball card numbers.
  12. Sosa, and its not even [expletive] close. Though Prior's 2003 is my my single favorite season performance in my lifetime.
  13. Gonna be real frustrating when they dig a big fat hole to start the season next year.
  14. i think it was very possible olt was going to brett jackson his career even without the possible red herring of the vision/concussion thing That too. Completely agree. Totally possible. I've wanted Lake and Olt to go to AAA since May in Olt's case and wanted Lake to start the season there. My question is why keep them up? They sent Jackson down after he sucked in his cup of coffee. Why doesn't their developmental philosophy apply to them? Like Jersey said, because they're older and were basically at sink or swim points of their careers.
  15. Why would that be weird? I thought you were doing a sarcasm thing.

  17. To be blunt, it's not a leap to think that Lake is what he is. And Olt's success largely rested on determining whether or not his vision issues were resolved.

  19. Bring him up later this year. Do it. Unleash our Cuban at long last.
  20. Trading two starting pitchers isn't the reason Edwin Jackson has continued to suck or why the offense has had, like, two or three recent games where they didn't produce much.

  22. Coghlan...is there a chance he's a thing we should care about?
  23. Maybe they'll drive away the seagulls.
