    The not dancing thing was awesome, but then you kinda figured he wasn't THAT much of an idiot and would basically go out of his way to say he didn't think the Bulls needed to sign anyone when it came time to make nice. I get it; he's just a dumb kid managed by stupid jerks. But when someone asks him if he's recruiting just give some version of "no comment" or "we'll handle that privately." It's not hard. And [expletive] Boozer; what, Noah is a jerk for being out there trying to woo Carmello? Please.

    I was going to scream "J'ACCUSE" and demand to know where the rest of the hits were from 2014 until I remembered we're not even to the [expletive] ASB in this nightmare of a season.

    I don't care if it's only happened once in spectacular fashion; it still can't hurt, and I'm sure at the very least they're at least usually making cursory calls and [expletive]. Rose has gone out of his way in the past to say he's not even gonna do that, which just seems pointlessly obtuse and stubborn. There's a difference between a player simply not doing it and what was has vocalized multiple times. It's like he thinks he's insulting the other returning players too much.

Now if I didn't know you were trying to counter my point I'd have thanked you for actually making it for me; that's probably the most open he's been vocally about the Bulls trying to big up another big name, and even then it's still this wishy-washy, backhanded stuff where he's like, "yeah, he can come here, I guess, whatever" and then caps it off with, "but really, who needs him, I can make ANYONE good." He praised his game, but said absolutely nothing about specifically wanting Anthony as a Bull, which, hey, it can't hurt. Yeah, recruiting isn't his job, but other stars DO do it, and we've seen it work. Rose not only doesn't do it, but he's gone out of his way to vocalize how much he doesn't like it and doesn't want to do it and how the Bulls don't need another star, etc., etc.. I would just like it if my team's star player seemed a little more invested in bringing another big name aboard.

    Yeah, but there's a middle ground between "ZOMG, HE'S OUT THERE TRYING TO BEST BUDS WITH EVERYONE!" and Rose flat out saying that he doesn't think they need whatever big FA's are out there. Yeah, I get what he's doing in clumsily propping up his team, but somebody teach him a [expletive] diplomatic answer for once.

    Yes, that's a given. Marveling that a team would want to interview him despite the major league team being garbage for years so that must mean he's some kind of farm system super-genius and boy oh boy our FO is amazing is just silly.

    Pretty sure if you set up a poll for Cardinals fans as to whether Pujols or Molina was a more valuable Cardinal, Molina would actually win with Eckstein coming in 2nd as a write-in and So Taguchi just barely being edged out by Pujols for 3rd.
