    Yeah, much easier to get pissed at now. This is very "THEY ALL LOOK THE SAME," but he looks like he's Soto's brother now and so when he sucks it just reminds me of Soto's downfall and I get doubly mad/sad.

    Our dignity. Oh, wait... Plus I irrationally hate "speed guys." Well how do you feel about RGI guys? Because those guys are way [expletive] worse IMO. Marginally less hatred. Speed seems to inspire more stupid manager decisions.

    Huh? So do I. Bonifacio has been substantially better than Schierholtz, Barney, and Olt. Like WAYYY WAYYY better. That's the point. Bonifacio was really good in April. He's been worse than Schierholtz and Barney since, and he doesn't have a bunch of history being a superior player to Schierholtz and Barney either. Barney has been [expletive] terrible for 200+ games now. 700 + PA. Schierholtz has been bad pretty much his entire career. If we're going to luck into some positive value with one of these guys, I'll take my chances on the gambley speed guy. I have no idea why you keep bringing Schierholtz up like I'm defending him; as I've said several times now he's part of the sludgy morass of bad that he, Barney, Olt and Bonifacio make up. You'd pick Bonifacio right now if you had to; I'd begrudgingly take Barney. Both are likely going to be terrible.

"Has" being the key word here; I have no idea what you're seeing from Bonifacio's performance since April that means he's a better option now. April counts too. Yeah, and he played way over his head. Now he stinks.

"Has" being the key word here; I have no idea what you're seeing from Bonifacio's performance since April that means he's a better option than Barney right now. Like I said, play him over Schierholtz all you want, they both stink, but I'd rather see Valbuena at 3B, Barney at 2B and Al Contra in CF more often than not right now.

    Barney's trending in the opposite direction and Bonifacio is just as bad or worse than Schierholtz and Olt. I don't care what [expletive] direction Barney is trending in. [expletive] him. Then play Valbuena at 2B instead. Isn't he at 3rd? Also, Bonifacio isn't as bad as Olt or Schierholtz. Those guys have both had negative value this year with significant playing time. I'm the weirdo that still wants them to win games; Bonifacio's value has passed us by, so I don't care if you're playing him or Schierholtz or Olt since they're all garbage now. Barney at 2B and Al Contra in CF is what I'd rather see than Bonifacio at one of those spots.
