At least you remembered he WAS a wildcard...I would've taken him over Murton 50 times over if it had occurred to me that he wasn't a grouped player. :shock:

.900+ OPS with 2 outs and RISP the last two seasons. .850+ OPS in close/late situations the last two seasons. I would take this EVERY SINGLE FREAKING TIME. I have absolutely no numbers at all to back this up, but it wouldn't surprise me if DLee 2005 is the only Cubs player of the last two years to approach either of the above figures.

I would agree with WF 22. We're probably not going to get anything good for Barrett at this point, so just enjoy this season and let him walk in free agency. He'll be fine for 2007.

Fixed for Z. Exactly - I'm sure when Z said "Reds" he really meant Dunn. I love Z but this comment crossed the line. I hate giving opposing teams bulletin board material, especially at the beginning of the year. And I hate to think of the uproar on this board if, say, Roy Oswalt ever said that about the Cubs after beating us. Oswalt pretty much owns us - I could hardly begrudge him the satisfaction if he felt like going off. Now if a Cardinal pitcher said it, considering the events of the last three years... :wink:
