There is no way in hell it stays this way, but Baylor leads Texas 7-0 halfway through the first and are driving inside the Horns 30. Edit - and they kick a FG. 10-0 Baylor.

Slaton could still get it, but he'd have to have a huge game against Louisville and pretty much crush WV's other opponents single-handedly. It's probably Smith's to lose. For him not to get it, either OSU needs to lose a game (in which Smith looks bad), or Quinn/Johnson need to explode the remainder of the year and their teams make a BCS game.

Not anymore! :D 10-3 Cincy with 6 minutes to go in the 1st half. (Reason for Smiley-I'm looking for one of WV or Lousville to lose, and then for the loser to beat the other team when they play each other) I think everyone behind both teams is. Where's Garrett Wolfe? NIU's still losing 13-7 in the 4th quarter. 16 carries 44 yards. WMU is DOMINATING that game. I think it's safe to say Ball State's losing by at least 20 next week then.

Pathetically enough, Lyons was by far the best color guy FOX had. Other than Al Leiter. Whatever happened to him? He was tremendous.

And Trey Lewis of Ball State fumbles the ball back to CMU after picking up a Chippewas fumble on 3rd down, giving the Chips 1st down, which should about do it. Cards are going to 2-5, 2-2 on the year with an extremely tough homecoming game against WMU next week.

Ball State is trailing Central Michigan 18-7 with 7:01 left and just failed to get in on 4th and goal from the 1. Barring a miracle, it looks like any chance of a MAC West title will go by the wayside today.

Weis is also on ESPNEWS at 5:50. He's promoting his new book. He said in his press conference on Tuesday that he didn't want to write a book, but heard from his agent how much money he could raise for Hannah & Friends (a foundation he set up to create a community for developmentally disabled children and adults, inspired by his daughter who has such a disorder), and his wife and son talked him into it.
