At least they took a really good player this time. Alualu was just a weird pick. They have $20 mill in cap space and Clabo, Smith and Winston on the streets. And Monroe and Britten already on the roster. I'm not arguing it was a good idea, just that it wasn't as bad as last year's first rounder. Well it'll be hard for Detroit to miss here.

I just checked CBS Sports and I immediately regretted it. Enough trade chatter and player slides to give a headache. The Dee Milliner surgery stuff came out supposedly within the last 48 hours and now I'm hearing buzz about Joaekel sliding.

You gotta take a G/C in the first 5 rounds and maybe look to an UFA for Tackle. -
For christ sake Well, that, and the idea there's only three players there doing anything. But DeJesus, Schierholtz, Wood, Villanueva, Jackson, Castillo, Valbuena, Soriano, Barney, Russell, and Rondon don't count. Not sure why though. But they don't. It is what it is. Until those players are turned into quality ML players, which is what you're implying, the roster doesn't help Sveum's job.

There are a lot of extremely bad picks on this list. DJ Fluker at 12 to the Dolphins is just brutal. There's no way that will happen. @seankjensen Agent @DerykGilmore of @PrioritySports tells me he's hearing client D.J. Fluker will be a top-10 pick. So perhaps 4 OTs go in top 10. More fluff. Man the hype machine is in full crank today. Some teams must really want to trade down. I think the source of most of the reports are agents, and I can't think of any reason they'd have to lie!! Between the team 'reports' and the agent 'reports' twitter is a cesspool of nonsense right now.
