best post in this thread by far. Who really cares? If Edmonds doesen't hit, he gets DFAed.......Pie isn't starting much anyway with Reed Johnson here. Maybe Pie can work on whatever Perry had helped him with in AAA, and he'll get a shot to be a full timer in 09.

Lefty starter. No Pie, for once, makes sense. I'm all for throwing Pie at EVERY starter every day and having him learn thru trial and error. Let the kid play man, stunting his growth and delaying it on the bench does nothing. -
